The vicomte Louis-Charles-Edouard de Lapasse, doctor and esoterist, was the head of the first Rose-Croix in Toulouse circa 1850. 

Firmin Boissin was born in Vernon near Joyeuse, in the department of Ardèche (France), on December 17, 1835. He died on July 13th 1893. He was a French journalist and catholic author. He was the Grand Master of the Rose-Cross of Toulouse.

The Marquis Stanislas de Guaita met with the Péladan brothers, Adrien and Joséphin, members of the Rose-Cross.

In 1884 the Marquis Stanislas de Guaita met the brothers Péladan, who were members of the Rose-Cross tradition. (Firmin Boissin was the Grand Master.)

Stanislas de Guaita, then 27 years old, founded the "Kabbalistic Order of the Rose-Cross", (K.O.R.C.). He became the first Illustrious Grand Patriarch Rose-Cross, Grand Master.
